Although there are common aspects with Social Networking, I believe developing Knowledge Networking will lead us to need to evolve new techniques particular to knowledge sharing and developing ideas together. From what I can see Knowledge Management and Knowledge Networking to date have been mostly focused on doing that in the context of businesses not in the context of the wider community. So I think there is a lot to learn, not least in terms of managing scale.
Having said that I think discussion around all aspects of developing online communities is relevant here.
So perhaps a first area to discuss here is how best to achieve awareness among those who would be interested in this particular community? Or given that Probably42 is just at its birth stage are there... less
