Should AI generate the finances to handle its own consequences?

    The opportunities AI provides are immense, both in business and in the Public Sector, here is a technology once mature, that can reduce costs while at the same time improving quality – a real silver bullet. We need to deploy it as fast as possible to solve some of the Big Issues of our time.

    On the other hand, we know it will both augment and replace jobs. At the very least it is a disruptive technology.

    If we do nothing, the path we are on will mean that power and money is likely to be focused in the hands of a few very large global corporations. We have to ensure, that with such pervasive technologies, we do something different to ensure we all benefit.

    Also, if we are going to handle job disruption and ultimately job loss, we need to consider how deployment of AI generates the finances to handle its own consequences, seen and unforeseen.
